Nor Arlina Amirah

My work brings together wildlife conservation, criminal justice, and environmental governance to strengthen the laws, institutions, and people that protect biodiversity. Through research, policy reform, capacity building, and collaboration with justice and conservation professionals, I strive to bridge the gap between conservation and the justice system.

Outside of my work, I'm an endurance athlete who believes that resilience, discipline, and continuous learning are just as important in protecting nature as they are in sport.

I provide consultancy support at the intersection of criminal justice, wildlife crime, law and policy, and conservation governance. My expertise includes wildlife crime enforcement, legislative and policy analysis, court monitoring, prosecution and enforcement capacity-building, anti-money laundering approaches to wildlife trafficking, and restorative justice. Beyond that, I have experience dealing with human rights issues within wildlife conservation and in general setting.

I also bring experience in research, technical writing, stakeholder engagement, policy drafting, and project development, working across government, NGOs, academia, and conservation partners. I am available for research, policy, training, strategic advice, and project-based consultancy engagements.
